🚀 Intro
Welcome to this weeks call:
- Most business owners/fitness entrepreneurs are stuck doing everything themselves. They wear every hat—sales, marketing, admin, coaching. Today, I want to instruct you how to stop being the system and instead build one. My background is in Executive Management, IT and digital systems, and I use automation, local SEO, and smart infrastructure to help entrepreneurs like you grow without burning out. I also incorporate a 10x mindset to most business decisions for myself and my clients.
What is the 10x mentality?
To me, thinking in a 10x mindset means operating with the belief that your business can grow tenfold—not just incrementally, but exponentially (banana zone). It’s not about working harder—it’s about thinking bigger, building smarter systems, and shifting from being a doer to being a builder.
A 10x mindset forces you to:
Think in scale, not survival. You stop asking “How can I make $10K this month?” and start asking “How do I build a machine that generates $100K/month without me doing everything?”
Build for growth, not comfort. You hire before you feel ready, invest in tools that automate, and build infrastructure that can handle volume before the volume shows up.
Act like the business you want to become. You make decisions today based on where you want to be—not where you are. That means branding, delegation, SOPs, productization—all designed for scale.
Say no to anything that doesn’t move the needle. You eliminate distractions, stop chasing every opportunity, and focus on the few actions that multiply results. EXAMPLE: Ive worked with numerous companies where we have weekly or bi-weekly growth meetings. We come up with 3 new ideas each week. This compounds over time and you end up getting nothing accomplished. SOMETIMES YOU NEED TO JUST GET NARROW AND STAY THERE..
In short: a 10x mindset isn’t about hustle. It’s about leverage. You’re not growing linearly—you’re building systems, teams, and strategies that break the limits of time and effort. That’s where real success lives.
EXAMPLE: My consulting business currently has 6 clients on autopilot. At the same time, we build on average 2-5 websites a month. I build nothing, my partners do. I find the business, I set up the deals and we split 50%. I can do this 100 times over and not need to hire another person in the company. How does this transfer over to PT’s? Very simply..
Todays Goal: Give you a clear blueprint to upgrade your operations using tools like Google Calendar, YouTube, Google My Business, Yelp, CRM systems, and simple automations. There are many more but today we will circle around these as we are limited on time. If at anytime you need help with these platform just start a conversation in our SKOOL community here SKOOL
My Belief on Why Most Companies Don’t Grow:
Most companies don’t grow because they don’t know how to scale. They stay stuck in small thinking and manual processes. If you want to break through, you have to shift into a 10x mentality. Every part of your business—your time, your tools, your team, your systems—must be built to scale 10x. Not just what works today, but what works 10x bigger tomorrow. The mindset shift has to touch every decision you make. That’s when real growth becomes possible. If you dont have the mindset IMO everything else will just be some form of you going through the motions.
Example 1:
When I first knew my first venture, Floormall.com, had serious potential, I made a decision with scale in mind. I bought four warehouse spaces, even though I only needed two—one for storage and one for an office. I quickly utilized all 4, 2 years quicker than anticipated. At that same location, I had started with 4 to 6 people on the phones, but I had 15 computers already set up and ready to go. I didn’t wait until I needed more space or more tech—I built for the team I was going to need. That’s 10x thinking in action.
Example 2: When I built this office, my goal was convenience and simplicity for the team. One of the best decisions I made was equipping each workstation with two to three flat-screen monitors. In the early 2000’s flatscreen monitors were not the norm. I knew I was onto something immediately. This setup increased employee output by up to 50%. It’s a highly cost-effective way to boost productivity while reducing overall payroll expenses. This is 10x mentality.
How This Applies to Fitness Professionals:
This same principle applies whether you’re a personal trainer, gym owner, or physical therapist. Are you only building for what you can handle today—or for the business you want 12 months from now? Trainers often wait until they’re fully booked before thinking about on boarding help. Gym owners wait until equipment breaks before upgrading. Physical therapists hesitate to hire admin support until they’re buried in paperwork. But 10x thinking means setting up more calendar slots, hiring an assistant before you’re overwhelmed, building your CRM before you’re drowning in leads, or filming content today that your future social strategy will need. Build for scale, not just survival.
Example: Every founder of Winning Daily manages multiple projects at once. Personally, I’m juggling six full-time clients and four ongoing ventures. Without a 10x mindset, I’d constantly feel overwhelmed and unsure of what to prioritize next. We all have the 10x mentality and MUST use organized operations to be able to scale and manage simultaneously. Picture EVERY task you do on a daily basis as an employee. Right now, you may have 5 employees. Your goal is to replace each employee with some sort of automated organizational tool…
EXAMPLE: Jay with the company he works with having 10 divisions in their IT department.
⚡️ The Real Problem
You ARE the business. If you don’t respond, post, or follow up—nothing happens.
Leads fall through the cracks. People ghost. You chase.
You’re running on energy, not systems.
Sound familiar? That’s why we need better ops.
